I've never been a big fan of the dentist, so needless to say, it's been quite some time since I last had a dental exam. As someone who suffers from TMJ issues, it's never been a pleasant experience for me to keep my mouth open for extended periods of time while a stranger prods around my gum line and chastises me for neglecting my flossing routine. After losing my dental insurance, I gave this place a shot because they offer a full exam and cleaning for first time patients for $59. I've gotta say... this was the most comprehensive and thorough dental exam I've ever had in my life! They don't just take your run-of-the-mill x-rays... you also get a full 360 degree scan of your head in addition to a standard exam and teeth cleaning. All of this for $59! They provide you with a treatment plan for any necessary dental work and they discuss the costs upfront. Yes, dental work can wipe out an entire paycheck (or two... or three...) but they have extremely flexible payment options, whether you're paying out of pocket or going through insurance. My only disappointment was that I was not eligible for the standard teeth cleaning, as they recommended a deep cleaning for some of my teeth, but you'd think they'd still be able to clean the teeth that WERE eligible... Regardless, it was overall a great visit. I will definitely come back here for my dental work in the future!
